ANNOUNCEMENT

Kingston Township’s Annual Spring Yard Waste/Bagged Leaf Pick up will be conducted from April 20 through April 24, 2009 and the Annual Spring Clean-up from May 4 through May 9, 2009. Coupons for the Clean-Up are now available at the Kingston Township Administrative Office from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. More information regarding these services can be found on the Township’s Web-site at www.kingstontownship.com or by calling the Administrative Office at 696-3809 during business hours.

PUBLIC COMMENTS

The Board of Supervisors will now take public comments. Please come to the microphone, state your name and address for the record and express your comments within the allotted five (5) minute time frame.

1. Public Hearing on Ordinance 2009-4 adopting the Articles of Agreement between the member municipalities of the Back Mountain Community Partnership.

2. Authorize the Township Manager to purchase a 2009 Ford Explorer XLT SSV V6 Police Vehicle through Co-Stars not to exceed $26,000 and all needed accessories not to exceed $4,000. $15,000 of the total cost will be from a Grant from Senator Baker.

3. Authorize the Township Manager to proceed with the Capital Improvement budgeted lease purchase of a new financial program from Freedom Systems in the amount of $6,595. First years payment includes 1/3 of software cost, annual support, training and conversion.

4. Discussion on the COPS (CHRP) Grant through the U.S. Department of Justice.

5. Discussion on grant funding through DCNR’s C2P2 Community Conservation Partnerships Program for funding to revitalize Center Street Park and NRCS grant funding to repair the Carverton Road Building.

6. Authorize a budgeted $1,000 donation to the Dallas High School 2009 Lock-In.

7. Facility Use Requests:

A) Request to use the Supervisors Meeting Room for Mandatory Police Update Training on Thursday, May 21st and Friday, May 22nd 2009.

B) Request of the Maplecrest Homeowners Association for the use of a lower level meeting room on Monday, April 20, 2009.

8. Supervisors Comments and/or any comments on the Monthly Business of the Township.
