Kingston Township will be conducting the 2009 Annual Christmas Tree Collection weekdays from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. beginning Monday, January 5th and continuing through Friday, January 16th. Details are available by calling the Township Hotline at 696-2063.

1. Motion to Approve Ordinance 2009-2 amending the Personnel Ordinance, Chapter 1, Part II, Section 1137, Subsection 3, Paragraph B.
2. Motion to Approve Ordinance 2009-3 amending the Compensation of Supervisors Ordinance Article III, Section 1320, Subsection 1.

3. Motion to approve Resolution 2009-1 Approve appointing the Township Manager as Chief Administrative Officer of the Police Pension Fund.
4. Motion to approve Resolution 2009-2 Exempting Police Officers from contributing to the Police Pension Fund.
5. Motion to approve the Planning Commission’s Recommendation to approve the Conditional Use Application of Verizon Wireless to construct a 100’ Telecommunications Monopole located a 337 Bunker Hill Road and schedule a Public Hearing on February 11, 2009.
6. Motion to Authorize the budgeted expenditure of $109,590.01 from the Capital Improvement fund and $25,000 grant funds from the DCED fund for a total of $134,590.01 for the purchase of our new 10 ton Dump Truck. (Grant Funds courtesy of Representative Mundy)
7. Motion to Authorize the Township Manager and Police Chief to do all things necessary to begin the process of hiring a new police officer.
8. Motion to Approve the attendance of Township Officials at the Annual Township Supervisors Conference in Hershey being held April 19-22, 2009.
9. Motion to Authorize the Township Manager to advertise for bids for Road Materials.
10. Motion to Authorize the sale of surplus equipment (1987 GMC Dump Truck, Plow and two spreaders) through L.A.G Auction.
11. Motion to Authorize the Township Manager to advertise to fill the vacancy in the Civil Service Commission.

12. Motion to Approve the request of Back Mountain Youth Lacrosse to use a Lower Level Meeting Room for their sign-ups on January 31, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
13. Motion to Approve the request of the Kingston Township Lions to use the Herb Hill Meeting room on January 19, 2009 from 6:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
The next Public Work Session will be held February 9 , 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in preparation for the next Regular Meeting of the Board of Supervisors to be held February 11, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.
