2022 Yard Waste – COMPOST SITE SCHEDULE
KINGSTON TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY
Proof of residency is required to enter the site.
The Kingston Township Compost Site is operating on the following schedule (weather permitting; the site will be closed during severe weather events).
The site is now open 7 days per week until November 30th (with the exception of holidays listed below).
Monday, Tuesday, and Friday | 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM | |
Wednesday and Thursday | 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM | |
Saturday and Sunday | 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM |
The site will be CLOSED on the following holidays: Easter, April 17th; Memorial Day, May 30th; Fourth of July, July 4th; Labor Day, September 5th; Thanksgiving, November 24th.
COAL, WOOD, PELLET, ASHES, ETC. ARE NOT TO BE DUMPED AT THE SITE
Violators will be fined for littering. This waste can be put out at the curb in a marked box
free of charge with your regular garbage.
Wood, broken furniture, construction debris, including concrete, is not accepted, those caught dumping unaccepted materials will be fined.
Contractors are not permitted to dump or to remove mulch.
Kingston Township Clean-Up
The Annual Kingston Township Clean-up will once again be held in the fall. The 2022 dates for the cleanup will be on Thursday, September 8th, Friday, September 9th, and Saturday, September 10th. In conjunction with the Clean-Up, the Township will also conduct a Paper Shredding Event on Friday, September 9th. The Rules for this event can be found below.
